Next week's Yours magazine – out on Tuesday 1st May – and the following one on 15th are both featuring an article on blogging.
They interviewed me for this feature – asking various questions like 'how often do you blog' and 'what are your top tips' for writing a blog. I can't remember all my answers but I know I responded that it's important to blog little and often to keep your readers interested.
Ironic then that I haven't blogged much at all this week. My main excuse being that I've been travelling and not always near wifi but also, if I'm honest, because I haven't had much to blog about. And it's surely important also, when managing a blog, to try to avoid blogging unless you have something to say?
There are some weeks when grandparenting issues seem to be all over the news and on the tips of everyone's tongues – and then weeks like this one which have been chock-a-block full of political and journalism stories but not much that's strictly relevant to grandparents.
Hence the pause in my blogging activity. But I'll be back blogging little and often again once inspiration strikes. Have a great Bank Holiday and look out for Yours next week!

Dilys, I actually bought the magazine for my mother today and read the page about your blog which led me to the facebook page which led me to this. Looking forward to reading more. At my age, I am the older mum of a four year old but I do have friends my age who are grandmothers!
